Gary Favro received undergraduate degrees in communications and political science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a juris doctorate degree from Albany Law School.    He has practiced law in the North County for over thirty five years as an associate, partner and sole practitioner concentrate now in real estate (residential and commercial), business/corporate, litigation and wills/estates.  In addition to being active in the community as a volunteer and board member in various organizations, he has served as City Court Judge in Plattsburgh, and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Clinton Community College.
